Author and trainer, Marina Allegri trained at the Teatro delle Briciole in Parma, where she worked for almost twenty years and for which she wrote, with Maurizio Bercini, some of the company's most important shows. In the mid-1980s, together with Maurizio Bercini, she founded the Laboratorio Permanente Teatro al Parco, the first non-academic Italian school for young artists. With Maurizio Bercini, she founded the company Ca' Luogo d'Arte, while continuing to work as a teacher and as a children's author, also collaborating as a scriptwriter for the television program L'albero azzurro.
