Marion Aubert

Marion Aubert is a writer and playwright, co-director with director Marion Guerrero of the company Tire pas la nappe, founded in 1996 when they graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Art Dramatique de Montpellier. She has written numerous theater texts, notably for the Comédie Française, the Comédie de Valence, the Théâtre du Rond-Point, the Théâtre Am Stram Gram in Geneva, the Théâtre du Peuple de Bussang, the Opéra de Limoges, etc.


The majority of her texts are published by Actes Sud-Papiers. Some have been translated into English, German, Czech, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan, etc.

Marion Aubert has received several awards and honors: Nouveau Talent Théâtre (2013), Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (2016), Special Jury Prize "Women for future" of the newspaper La Tribune (2019, with Marion Guerrero). Les Orphelines is the only one of her plays written for puppets.
