Vittorio Ferraiolo is a glove puppeteer from Salerno. He belongs to a family of puppeteers known for staging plays with Pulcinella, in large puppet booths with several puppeteers. He is the grandson of Pasquale Ferrajolo (the orthography changes according to the members of the family) and the son of Francesco. Of all Francesco's sons, he was the only one to have learned to use the swazzle, which he employed until 1960.
