Ernst Pocci was the grandson of the "Puppet Count " Franz von Pocci. His birth and death dates are not known. His literary activity dates back to the 1920s. He died young, according to his cousin Franz Pocci's preface to the play Nachtschatten, published posthumously in 1934.
