Paco Zarzoso is an actor, director and, most of all, a playwright. He studied theater writing with Sergi Bebel and José Sanchis Sinisterra and began acting with the company Moma Teatre, before creating the company l'Hongaresa de Teatre, where he has created several shows. Since 1994, he has written some twenty plays in Catalan and Spanish, and today he enjoys a growing reputation in Latin America. He is one of the representatives of the new Valencian dramaturgy, and has been rewarded with indisputable success and numerous awards. The return to the author's theater, the commitment to tragicomedy, the transgression of conventional theatricality and themes borrowed from everyday life are the most striking characteristics of his dramaturgy.
