Note

À qui mieux mieux is a solo show imagined and directed by Renaud Herbin. It was first performed by Bruno Aznar. The actor plays with “matter” made of multi-coloured synthetic fibres, designed by Céline Diez, a plastic artist and scenographer. The music was composed by composer and musical performer Alice Daquet (Sir Alice). The actor almost stutters the script - a monologue that sounds like a poem, featuring repetitions, assonances and alliterations. The show is suitable for children aged 3 or more.

Plot summary

A human being marvels at life

A man comes on stage, crushed under the massive pillow he is carrying. He opens it and takes out heaps of fibre - orange, then blue, grey, etc. He scatters them around him until they cover the stage. The man is enthralled by all this matter and speaks to it, telling it about life in general. Little by little, he becomes lost in it.
