Note

The play was written to meet a request by puppeteer Gaston Cony. It was part of the show Bébé-Revue (Baby-Review) that Gaston Cony presented on the occasion of the 6th celebration of the work “Nos Marionnettes” (Our Puppets). The rest of the show is a song recital in which the puppets of several singers (Théodore Botrel, Gaston Couté, Xavier Privas, Félix Galipaux, etc.) succeed one another before ending on an “apotheosis”, Le Paradis des bébés (The Babies’ Paradise).
