Since 1978, Brunello has been an author of texts for the puppet and actor's theater, an actor, a puppeteer and an explorer of the possibilities of the puppet booth. For his innovative activity in the field of puppetry, he has received numerous awards in Italy and abroad, where several of his works have been translated and performed: Eolo Award (2009 and 2012), Sirena d'oro (2002), Grand Prix of the Belarus International Festival (2000), Silvano d'oro (1998), Marionetta d'oro (1997). He has long collaborated with the director and puppeteer Gyula Molnàr.
