Daniel Lemahieu is a playwright, director and dramaturge. He was an artistic collaborator of Antoine Vitez. He has held a number of directorial positions: Secretary General of the Théâtre National de Chaillot from 1985 to 1988, then Artistic Advisor to the Théâtre National de la Communauté Française de Belgique. He was also a lecturer at the Institut d'Etudes Théâtrales, Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle.
